How can someone manage his/her time to give every friend an equal opportunity? Will some friends be left out? Will some friends be just...friends?
Its so weird. It appears that in every friendship, there are 4 stages, namely,
- the meeting stage
- the getting-to-know-you stage
- the on-great-talking-terms stage
- the forget-you stage
The meeting stage(Acquaintance) : Where a friend meets another. They are on polite talking terms, and speak only of general subjects.

The getting to know you stage : Where the friendship deepens and the friends get closer. They talk about things closer to their heart, ie. family, and their aspirations. This stage, the friends get to know most about each other.

The On great talking terms stage : The friends are able to communicate freely, and will say things without much thought. Their conversations are deep and reaches a point where the friends are able to talk about much more sensitive issues. This may go on for several months, or end in a heated argument which cannot be resolved.

The forget You stage : The saddest stage. Where a friend leaves behind another to go on to someone else. There is a lack of communication here and the friendship is now hanging by a thread. Only 1 party is interested in keeping touch while the other party is NIL. The NIL party may choose to move on to new friends and keep the current friend out of sight out of mind, or choose to move back to his/her old friends. New friends are silver. Old friends are gold.

This doesnt apply for all btw. Its just my perception.
